LS Intranet Internal Corporate Portal has initially served as a central hub for internal communications and document management. We are now expanding the portal's functionality to create a strategic knowledge and talent management system.
We have thoroughly worked on Employee profiles. Now, these are not ordinary cards, but dynamic digital portraits of the professional path. The key additions are two new sections: Competencies and Projects. In the first, the User can describe in detail their professional skills, from programming languages to project management methodologies. The level of mastery of each skill must be indicated. The second section allows you to record your experience of participating in internal projects of the Company. It indicates which competencies and tools were used to achieve the result.
Such structured information forms a multidimensional picture of expertise within the Organization.
The practical value of such detailed profiles is revealed in specific business cases. For example, the Team Lead of the Development Dept needs to quickly form a Team for a new project. The experience with the specific framework is required, which only a few Specialists in the Company deal with.
